The Real Jobs + WIIINCE + Luxury Nan Smell 15.05.2026

Releasing spirit punk/evil boyband music from their home of Bergen, Norway. The Real Jobs put gnarly sounding synths to late night tales.

Named after a number plate, Wiiince write songs about the minutiae of the awkward parts of life, and awkwardness of life’s minutiae. Their songs are mercifully short (average length 2:27), and sound like if your favourite indie pop band was forced to construct songs from one chorus and an outro. If they were only allowed choruses from Pavement and outros from mclusky you’d be close to how they’d like to sound. Despite this they were once described as “endearing indie-pop” but have since become a little harder to love.

Noisy math-rock scented three piece LUXURY NAN SMELL present a collection of silly riffs. After meeting in art-pop outfit Sofa King, Rose Davies (she/her, guitar) and Emily Doyle (she/her, bass) enlisted blast beat enthusiast Jacob Spink (he/him, drums) to dream up a defiantly danceable fusion of post-punk, sludge, and bedroom emo.
